Countless hours in the studio, hundreds of black and milds and herb filled sessions later. The North Bay Trio "Distant Relatives" has accumulated a mass amount of potent music. some of which has never seen the light of day. Until now...."Mixellaneous" emerges. After digging through the vaults of DR's gigabyte filled hard drives, an eclectic combination of music began to form in a most organic way. Having already bridged the gap with "Dub Rap" volume 1 it was only natural to combine their love of Hip Hop with the influence of Dub Step, Trip Hop and Reggae. Not alone in this journey they called on fellow Bay Area Natives, such as Starski, Sky-I , TruthLive, Moe Green and others to complete this intense sonic landscape they call "Mixellaneous".So sit back relax and loose yourself in something different.
