Welcome all for another HOT TOPIC and my next artist I wrote about today is a singer who will soon be rising to the top. Making hearts melt and giving people that feeling that's been missing....

This guy named ROSSI is a TALENTED singer from the streets of Richmond, CA with alot of ambition and passion that he puts in his music. One of the best voices I myself have heard and this HBK singer has yet to let me down with his music. His song "Love" is a smooth R&B track that makes you feel where his heart and his music is. Song produced by JUSTIN KASE and it's a classic love song and has a great 90's feeling which we haven't felt in music in a while. As I normally do, I asked Rossi a few questions and he gave some honest answers back and didn't sell false hope.

What got Rossi started on his career? 

"Michael Jackson.... I love him, he influences my songs and dances as well as my personality. So of course growing up watching a hero of yours you wanna be just like them. So it started from there. Since then growing up I got and still get a lot of compliments on my voice. It's a passion of mine and I wanna make it so I can help and save people like Michael did. My friends and supporters encourage me so I don't wanna let them down and it's humbling."

I remember Rossi saying one day that, "The day MJ died a piece of me died also," for somebody to feel like that about another person that has only understood his music shows how much love and respect he has for great music.

What is his focus and his main reason why he keeps grinding?

"It's just a passion of mine. It's something that I feel I'm good at and I feel like theres a whole bunch of people that sleep on me. so i wanna prove i can hold my own. Michael Jackson will always be a influence and R. Kelly... My son Rossi Jr. of course, I want him to be proud of his dad and his name. You won't find too many Rossi's in the world so I wanna do well enough for him to want to continue the legacy I hope to create. Name-wise, music-wise, everything."

His son means the world to him and that's his number ONE fan he has. When you make music and have your child that tells you to turn your song on when you are in the car probably gives you a big smile and makes your heart rejoice. We all know that the NEW BAY movement is a big thing right now and me myself I'm proud to be apart of it.

I asked Rssi what his take was on the #NewBay movement, he said:

"It has helped me very much to say the least. It's hard enough singing in a pool full of rappers. So it gives me another avenue to network and meet people that actually have a focus on singers and not just a feature... But overall very much because we're all friends for the most part and we encourage and challenge each other musically. So by us being competitive, it only makes us better. The time we spend challenging each other will only be scarier for the masses when the right person gets behind us because as a whole I believe there is enough talent in this circle to change the bad perspective that people outside of the Bay Area might have on us... And when it does, hopefully we'll be a hot place to search for talent and just have fun again like the South."

That right there shows his love for the #NewBay movement because it's pushing his good music out....
