This year we managed to get called up for 2 showcases at Austin's SXSW Festival. We brought out The Getback Band, and DROVE to Austin from California with our fam from Inglewood, the WOODWORKS camp, and Mariel Sarangay, lead singer of Fly By Night. We all put on an amazing few shows, played on the streets, and did it all in less than 3 days. Yes, 3 days. 30 hours driving each way, 14 hours total in Austin, 2 showcases, 12 people, GETBACK.
