This week I have been slappin' $.N.A.C.K: Shmop Nights and Cali Kush, which was released by New Bay entrepreneur K00l J0hn. For those of you not in the know K00l J0hn has been throwing and hosting undeground parties called Shmop Fests for a while now. K00l J0hn throws these Shmop Fests under the mantra "Throw Parties, Not Fists!" and that is exactly what happens when New Bay artist come together to throw down on the mic and party goers come to get down on the drink, smoke, and good times. $.N.A.C.K  is the sound track to the Shmop Fests, but it doesn't have to be a Saturday night for you to get down on some good times with $.N.A.C.K. K00l J0hn has got a host of New Bay artists blessing $.N.A.C.K. including Mike Dash E, IAMSU!, Jay Ant, ST. Spittin, Planejane, Young Bari and a host of other artists. $.N.A.C.K is an epic 34 tracks long so I'm going to pick out just some of my favorites, but make sure to check out every track on the album. $.N.A.C.K kicks off with Swaggin 2011 by C.F.O.P.A which features a slappin' base and kickin' drums that will definatly have trunks rattling all over the Bay. Make sure to catch a rare appearance from K00l J0hn on the end of the track. Speaking about appearances from K00l J0hn DONT skip over the interludes they are hella funny, especially Big SaladxCruton Meet K00l J0hn, Cesar Salad FOOL! IAMSU! is all over $.N.A.C.K and he kills one of the hottest tracks on $.N.A.C.K Yamaha. IAMSU! steps away from Auto-Tune and laces Yamaha with precise clever rhymes that really show off his rapping ability. IAMSU! is quickly rising up the Bay Area ranks and Yamaha takes him one step closer to a total take over. On a different Shmop hype we have Out The Door by Rossi featuring IAMSU! and Skipper. Rossi is defiantly on more of an R&B tip which is nice to hear especial when the beat is banging and the party is in full swing. IAMSU! and Skipper come together on Out The Door to give the track their unique HBK swag. Out The Door will have both the ladies and fellas rockin. Don't sleep! Other bangers on $.N.A.C.K include So High featuring ST Spittin and Planejane, Fired Up featuring Jay Ant, Young Bari, and Show Banga, and Rep Tha Blocka featuring Young Bari. There is a wealth of young talent all over $.N.A.C.K, you will be hard pressed to find a track on $.N.A.C.K that doesn't feature a young, talented Bay Area artist. K00l J0hn is doing his thing, getting that many different artists together for a 34 track deep compilation is quite the task, so big up to your J0Hn.
