Produced entirely by C-Loz, Bitch, I'm A Player is full of deep base, heavy drum slaps that complement Roach like sand compliments the beach. C-Loz's beats are coming of age; he is making strides and coming up with new and creative tracks that really do rattle the trunk. C-Loz does a great job crafting the backdrop, but Roach Gigz is the lyrical maestro behind Bitch, I'm A player. On tracks like Gina and Headache Roach Gigz shines with deep lyrical content and clevermetaphor. Lyrically Roach Gigz shines, he can still have the trunk knocking, the club/show going dumb, but still have some cleaver, well thought out rhymes. What I love about Roach Gigz is that he is a story teller, with past songs like Syrup Thighs, and This is RB2 Roach paints a vivid picture with his words. The trend continues on Bitch, I'm A Player with Wild Child featuring Lil' 4 Tay. Wild Child chronicles Roach's early years in school and in life and tells the story of every teacher, parent, and kid that doubted and hated. Wild Child is dope it will take every problem child back to the days of sitting in the principals office. However I was a little disappointed with Lil' 4 Tay's verse; I never heard him rap before, but I was a little let down. I guess it's hard to live up to Big 4 Tay's reputation. Keep it up Lil' 4 Tay! The officiall party anthem, crazy slap off Bitch, I'm A Player, has to be Stupid featuring Lil B, and Husalah of the Mob Figgaz. Roach Gigz has always been holding down Hyphy, but Stupid completely brings it back..even if it's only for one track. It is prevalent after hearing Stupid that Roach Gigz was a kid of the Hyphy generation and wants to keep the genre alive. And more power to him, deep lyrics, poetry, an fighting the power are cool and necessary in Hip Hop, but don't we all just want to go dumb sometimes? Roach Gigz has delivered yet again with Bitch, I'm A Player, giving us hard hitting, thought out, clever rhymes all behind a flow and beat that will leaving you saying..."wow". Did I mention that Bitch, I'm A Player is free? This isn't the first time Roach has given away his projects for free and I applaud him for that. There is nothing wrong with giving your music away if it attracts more people to your cause...shit that's how we do it at Thizzler!
