    Episode 39: ZION I

Never the type to dumb it down, emcee Zumbi and producer Amp Live have been keeping the Bay Area enlightened for almost 20 years. After their original group, Metaphor, didn't work out, Zumbi and Amp Live formed Zion I and since then have become one of the most prolific underground hip-hop groups to come out of California. Em Dub got a chance to meet up with the duo in between their crazy tour schedule and talked about how Zion I formed, how they started making music, the most personal song to them, and about their upcoming projects, including Atomic Clock, Zion I & The Grouch, The Burnerz, and Amp's latest solo album, Murder At The Discoteque.
