Do Dat, Do Dat Do Do Dat Dat Dat! Ever since A Tribe Called Quest's Award Tour Oakland emcee Do D.A.T. has been doing dat with his crew The Attik and on his own, most recently with his Duke Ellington inspired solo album Oakland In Blue. He took a few minutes out of his day to meet up with Em Dub of Thizzler On The Roof over in downtown Oakland and talked about a variety of topics, from how he got his name to how he developed his style to the originations of the new album to what's coming up for D.A.T. He also spit some dope raps acapella so peep the technique!
